We get paranoid about our every action
Our slightest move... we ponder
We ponder about the pros and cons
We simplest things we do
Why do we do that... to impress people People who wouldn't even bat an eye lid
In mear acknowledgement of our very existence...
We continue to try to please people
People who's opinion couldn't make
And wouldn't slightest difference in our life...
Forgetting those who were there for us
We forget were we truly belong
And to tell you the truth
By pushing aside what really matters
And accept what doesn't
Just because you want to feel among
You're just selling yourself short
Deminishing your worth
And stuffing your pride at the depth of your heart
Only to later cause your own demise
