What separates flowers
from roses? I never knew,
not until the day it spoke
louder than words do.

It can also be said
when I first met you,
you were someone amongst
everyone just the same

Not until I noticed
the color that your steps bring,
excitement, joy, heart thumping,
suddenly you're a red among the rest.

I never understood its meaning
not until your voice haunted me
in my mind, my thoughts, my sanity,
you made me smile crazily

Seeing you created a whole new world
for me, my days lighter, my heart jumping
to tomorrow endlessly, you corrupted me,
you never knew, but I do.

You entered my life and made everything
better, now I don't know how to go back
without letting you go.

So, will you please allow me
to create a future with
you in it now and forever.
