Home means safety,
Comfort,
Shelter.
You can make it your own.
It is warm
And familiar.

The place where I live
Makes me feel unsafe,
Uncomfortable,
Vulnerable.
It doesn't feel like mine,
It makes me shiver with anxiety,
And makes me feel uncertain.

The place
Where I feel at home,
Is nature,
School,
A friend's house:
Anywhere else.

Home
Is supposed to feel safe.
My home
Gives me flashbacks
To the worst things
I have ever experienced.
