Loving you was the easiest thing I had ever done,
and I say these words knowing you put in a great deal of the works
You loved me before I even learnt to love myself
And called me your own in times I wanted nothing to do with you
You waited patiently for me to love you back, even when the odds didn't look like I would
So, now I do love you back, I do it with ease
I do it knowing you'd never condemn me for the times I didn't love you back
