I was a wandering soul
Seeking a meaning to life
I thought I'd find no answer,
But then God gave me you.

I was a little surprised,
It happened in the blink of an eye,
I almost ceased the search for joy
But then God gave me you.

It felt a bit unreal,
The love you gave my heart
Until truth dawned upon it,
You are Still out of my reach.

But you are loved from afar
I know our hearts are closer than we are
So my answer unchanged, a meaningful life,
When I felt incomplete, God gave me you.
