I could no longer see
the darkness is inside of me
perseverates endlessly
the dreams of forebears.

The emissary of my soul
is looking his own visage
in the futile mirror
a mind-numbing truth

But light, there was a light
exulted my spirit on high
that my soul rued the past
rejoice, and was healed at last

It feels like heaven
when my heart was touched by his presence,
and my soul was cleansed by fire
the fire of his love that melt the darkness inside.
