For more than a year I went away
Found a different job that put food on the tray
Consumed knowledge from others
As I was new to the job that makes you feel like fodder

But after consuming the knowledge
It is now time for me to come back
To the job that people initially acknowledge
Putting youth on the right track

But I feel like the divine is testing me
Restoring the patience where it should be
So I can inspire the youth and fulfill my dream
Hoping, praying it will be a steady stream

I pray to God before I go back
To give me everything I need to do my part
Guide me so I can continue on this track
To permanent teaching, this is the start
