Swimming through an ocean of thoughts,
wandering around my mind like I'm lost.
Navigating left and right,
my last thought out of sight.
My dreams withering far away,
wishing at least one of them would stay.
My thoughts slithering into a cave,
endless tunnels turning them into slaves.

What do they say,
when my back's turned?
Who do they run,
when my back's turned?
Where do they go,
when my back's turned?

My disappearing thoughts. . .
My disappearing dreams. . .
All belong to my forgetful mind.
