Circling around the rim
Of delusion's chalice;
Unexplored extensions,
In unilluminated territories.
Teasing Insanity's grip
Like a night-cloaked ferryman
Flipping a silver coin of passage
Between his spooking phalanges.

Upsetting the stream of real
Persistently exaggerating normal,
For the overused convenience
Of a pre-written destination.
Dredging an overflow of questions;
A subtle tussle of anxiety,
An intended recurring loop.

Inflating meaningless patterns
In the grand scheme of things.
Contorting harmless shadows
Into mystifying monsters.
Chastising the defenseless mind,
With each indulged thought;
Seamlessly weaved, patiently stitched
Unavoidably induced, intentionally assembled.
