Odes
This is a hymn of my melody,
Concocting,to the rhythmic sounds of my
lively waters.
They gave us arms and faint instructions.
Feed us war, greed and survival of the fittest mentalities
I was once a pure young woman 'till stripped off my innocence.
By virtue of perversion, they did as they pleased.
They traded my innocence for some experience.
Breaking eternal boundaries for their own benefits
Once was acclaimed worthy but now I cannot picture it.
These are odes to my bodacious body which encompasses entire nations.
Now,a moment of silence,
For my voice was nul-voided:
By the paralytic-
Deeds of men who claimed supposed freedom through iniquities.
We far from Grace and we still ain't seeing it.
Yet though as these stones cry out,
I shall too.
Yes, a broken young woman
But not incapable.
They wonder how a man's woman,
But I represent a kingdom.
By their transgressions, my veil remains now forever torn.
They say there's a purpose for all those who were born.
But for years now, the garment of decency I've still not worn.
Hmph,work your salvation?
That sounds like a broken song.
I am bride,
A conglomerate of the entire human race.
Prepare the bride for day the Holy one returns?
By then,I wonder will my faith even accept him.
