Those were the days where a walk outside was enchanting with fresh air
Blowing through the hair
Now it's all about an escape! From the dust and polluted air
Those were the days where we used to recline against the trees after tiring walk
Now all we run into ,to relax are the malls and building blocks!
Those were the days mind would be rejuvenated by chirp of birds
Now it's all the honks and harsh noice intruding the peace of mind..
Those were the days where eyes were brightened by the sight of colorful flowers..
Now the ones stealing our eyesight are those glasses and tall towers
Those were the days we used to cherish the rain and fragrance of first rainfall
Now the rain is all about the crib of getting drenched,dirty and pitfall
Blessed were we by endearing mother nature..
Curse we are now! To her
As we forgot to nurture
And one day mankind would end with regrets: "I wish I could have saved this wonderful creature!"
