Evening of a life
The soft white cumulus silently turns dirty grey,
And the beautiful picturesque sky slowly darkened,
The evening stars soon appears one by one,
while the warm heavy breeze also becomes chillier and light,
The swaying palm leaves becomes silhouettes, like dancing ghosts ,
The trees cast dangerous shadows, as the moon shines above,
Distance horns and sirens visible on the highway,
Were civilians rushing home to waiting families,
While others strive out in the streets,
But to me, this is an evening of a lifetime to remember.
