Who am I and why am I here?
These are the questions that haunt me
I look at the mirror and see a stranger
I don't recognize the person that I see
Am I just a product of chance and circumstance?
A fleeting speck in the vast universe
Or do I have a role and a destiny?
A reason to be and a mission to serve
I wish I had the answers to these mysteries
But they elude me like a mirage
I wonder if there is a higher power
A creator who knows who I am
Maybe I will never know the truth
Maybe I will always doubt my existence
But I will try to live each day with gratitude
And find some joy in my persistence
