In a poetry festival. Yes! That's where it started
Through those doors, dancing joyful with a beat, my heart got tarted
A dear, close Friend of mine, he had awe eyes for someone too
'Come out of your cocoon' I said. That he did and so he flew
A plucky butterfly, meets another, an elegant red
Together high in autumn's fall, here alone above I shed
My curious, my eager heart sat next to her on the right
Licking her caramel ice cream, not daring to leave nor move in sight
"Come out of your cocoon" a sudden but familiar voice sings
"Show her your honest colours and your elegant wings"
A dear, close friend of mine says and flies off once again
With someone, leaving me above, what will I lose or personally gain
A lover perhaps, in least a new Friend, no matter I'll try
As I hatch, gracefully and approach, still nervous and shy
I said hi and told her my name and she did the exact same
An effortless aim to the heart embracing a warm gentle flame
Every heartfelt second, every heartfelt moment, time felt really slow
