I wish I was a bird
I wish I was a bird soaring through the air.
No stress, no worry,
just me and the open air.
I wish I was a bird just so I could see
The world below in all its beauty.
If I was a bird I'd fly far and fast
Freedom for however long it lasts.
If I had wings I would feel free to be me
Wild and crazy, no responsibilities.
If I had wings I'd travel the world
But since I have none I'll stay right here
Daydreaming of the possibilities.
