When I was lost
When there was a sea that made me drown
I looked up at the stars
I thought there wasn't any hope
Then I looked to my left
There was a glowing light
Then there were the voices
I thought I was finally saved
Then a cold harsh rush came up on me
I felt nothing but numb
At first I thought it was the water
I looked up and saw an even brighter light
I could barely talk
The last words I said were "I want to go home."
I should've known better
Death was what carried me to the lighthouse
On that very shore of Flannan Isle
At least I am home
