Keep you up
I can't help that you're alone,
Going through the family home.
I can't help you lift the weight,
Can't help but keep you up so late.

I am bathing past dark noon,
Knowing that I won't see you soon.
And here I lay in lavender salt,
Running through the breaking fault.

Writing in my Van Gogh book,
Of all the times I fail to look,
At all the space that never filled,
Inside a marriage of me and him.

Thoughts have come and they now pass,
And I will act an ex of class.
Never cry a tear for pain,
With every ache there's much to gain.

Visualise the future strong,
As I stand beside my one.
Living out the daily dream,
All I want has come to be.

Growing boys into good men,
And then another I grow again.
Knowing life's a phase of time,
And some phase will have no rhyme.

But that's okay, I'm happy here,
All I want is nearly near.
With nothing in my bank account,
I'm living fully without a doubt.
