A twisted road,
A rebellious journey,
A challenging code,
Towards life's tourney.

A path filled with jagged stones,
It will cut the soles of your feet,
A lonely road with frigid winds blown,
It will put you down until you admit defeat.

That burden on your shoulders,
Would feel like the weight of the world,
Hope are like dying embers,
Truth is an ever distant pearl.

But keep on walking until your feet bleed,
Let your hands and body smother with grime,
Because everything's good is worth the effort indeed,
One day you'll find your happiness, but it's not all about the destination...
It's the climb.
