Your sacrifices are many
in any days distance.
The strength you exhibit
can put to shame the strongest element.
God only knows
the power behind your drive.

I don't know,
but I understand.

One can only imagine
the will it takes for you to endure
harsh difficulties and never
whence or shed a tear
under the bludgeoning of chance.

I don't know,
but I understand.

You are a hero
for many to behold.
Projecting a light that shines
with the sole purpose to diminish
all doubts, falsehoods, and fears.

This I know,
and understand!
