Little Cat
I sat outside, wind over my head
I sat alone, all filled with dread
A loss of friends, no one to talk
I've moved again, I seemed so blocked
A hollar from inside, an exited tone
I rushed right in, and was met by window
My sister called, "There is a cat!"
he was small and orange, how strange was that
My heart lit up, I rushed outside
I held a bowl, had nothing to hide
Once the cat saw, he ran away
But I saw him eating, late that day
Over two months, aside I watched
He munched on food, aware my call...
I sat alone, all filled with dread
A loss of friends, no one to talk
I've moved again, I seemed so blocked
A hollar from inside, an exited tone
I rushed right in, and was met by window
