The woman who searched for glory
Time demands of us all
Whether it be time from the lost
Health as a cost
Youth as the fuel to unravel your post
Tears to discern what you loved from the loss

I am a small man
Of little wisdom
I desire the kingdom
But I find it difficult to differentiate the world from wisdom
I struggle to see past the devils kingdom

I look back at the past
Remembering what lasts
Having forgotten most of my days as rough brass
I look back with fear, longing, and cheers
Celebrating victory over all that I once feared
The lord has done miracles its clear
Brought me across mountains with pears
Taught me much with few tears
but I am still a lesser man I fear

I write often
Posting rarely
Now motivated to share what moves me
A once in a lifetime story
In honor of the woman who once wanted glory
to pay respect to my grandmother’s story
