I have new roads, and bridges to span,
I will build infrastructure, that’s my plan.
I have the hospitals, healthcare for all,
I will improve it, just give me a call.

I have the schools with books and more,
I will ensure proper education’s core.
I have the promise of jobs galore,
I will create them, open each door.

I have the vow to cut salaries high,
I will audit debts, watch the figures fly.
I have solutions for all your pain,
I will make sure your trust isn’t in vain.

I have your hopes, your dreams, your cheers,
I will fulfill them, allay your fears.
But promises fade, as they often do,
I have no answers, just dreams untrue.

I will leave you waiting, hopes in shreds,
I have misled you, filled with dread.
In the end, it’s the same old song,
I will promise, but it won’t be long.
