Heavenly star
I've been sailing across oceans,
in search of something,
in strange lands,
I didn't know what it was,
until a stranger's smile
felt like sunrise on my skin.

I felt the need to know her,
to hear her voice,
I had already had a melody
play in my head, one that's similar
to the beautiful tone of her voice,
when she spoke I felt vibrations,
in my veins rushing to my heart,
and then subside in metaphoric rays.

her laughter sprung beams of joy,
and in her smiles I saw,
cherry blossoms manicured,
with bliss-pink petals.
in her eyes I saw,
spring flowers bloom,
the tulips in their firm beauty,
the daffodils, as they wandered
lonely in the wake of spring.

I followed her, as the sunflower
does to it's sun, I followed her,
she was my heavenly star.
