The thing I find funniest about people liking my poetry
Is that the poems are not special in any way
They are just the open heart of a poor laborer
Don't get me wrong I am not where I was, but I am still not one of importance
And yet here we find ourselves again
Reading words that have been said before
Yet still are so true you can't help but think I've felt this before and I'm glad I'm not alone
In short, I guess what I'm trying to say is unless I stop being but a mortal man
I can find comfort in knowing I have an audience in this land
