Love seasons: A sequence of Poems
My sequence of poems:

LOVE SEASONS:

LOVE SPRINGS FORTH
A gentle warmth embraces me
Our new love blooms
You fill me with energy
As you shine like the sun
Your perfumes fragrance
Like the flowers in spring
The beginning of our love
Like a season of hope

BURNING SUMMER LOVE
It’s getting hot and steamy
Sweat dripping down your skin
Lust and love almost the same thing
The temperature is rising, melting ice cream
The heat is too much now
Starting to feel the burn of your intensity

THE FALL OF OUR LOVE
It’s starting to decay, to brown and to crumble
The colours fade away along with our love
Our hearts are cooling like the air around us
We’re falling out of love as the leaves from the trees
But we’re not admitting to the truth
Despite our loves remains being crunched underfoot

THE WINTER OF OUR LOVE
A storm is blowing fiercely
Her icy glare cuts through me
Thank goodness looks don’t kill
Her presence brings a chill
An icicle has pierced my heart
Driven in there by her hand
I used to be warm blooded but now I am cold
Our relationship is a frozen wasteland
Never to be repopulated
The sting of her cold wind
Reminds me I’ll never be warm again
Those severe seasons I won’t relive again
