A Girl in Red Saree
In midst of road signal
A girl in red saree,
passed my car
gazing at me with her
poisonous sparkling eyes.
Next day in a coffee bar
I have seen the same girl
in red saree peeking me
through the window glass
but now with a pitiable eyes
and this time I noticed her
frizzy hair with red poppy flowers,
who surreptitiously follows me.
That night my son showed me,
his new painting of a girl
in red saree, holding a
bunch of red flowers and
glancing at me with the
same pitiable eyes.
Two days later
In hospital cot, before closing
my eyes, I have seen the same girl
in red saree, gazing at me
with her lamentable eyes.
