In a lifetime of pain and struggle, everything faded once our eyes met,

Oh how do I remember the moment, how shy and innocent you were ,

Took my breath away, time stood still, for a second only we existed ,

Looking back now I guess that I knew, not too sure about you,

Someone I had an instant connection with you, somehow I knew,

You were one of a kind. Someone who wanted no attention through and through,

Yet you were my light at the end of the tunnel in a difficult time,

I can only hope our time together was as memorable, for that's all it is now bitter sweet memories from when we were kids,

You taught me what it meant to care about someone more than yourself,

A love so pure and simple almost as if we were kids,

But now it's over now we've both moved on added new scars,

The burden of time takes its toll baggage, history, everything whispered into the wind,

Can we make it back to each other,

After everything and everyone we've been through?

Even tho this question keeps me up at night, I still have hope that one day we would unite, however impossible...

Under the pretense of true love, being the best of friends with a love that helps us grow together and never apart.

Even though I got over you a long time ago you had my heart from the moment our eyes met that day in school,

Just being in your company is enough, for the joy and happiness you radiate is uncanny, I couldn't help but falling for you all over again,

So it's only fitting for the second time that I tell you that I truly love u, for good and bad, inside and out, for all your flaws and mistakes
