RESOLVED
Sleep my child,
like you’ve never slept,
And close your eyes
as if you lived free, yet never wept,
for this cruel world is destined
solely to be witnessed by me,
So in ashen times if you must weep,
Then solemnly weep,
beyond pale graves,
Although flesh buried,
Our souls run deep
Flying together where heaven saves,
It’s where innocence unearths
its resting place,
And peace finally restores
The smile of youthfulness’s face
