Mother's tale
They play in the shadows of misery
Tamely, they go astray.
Even in the ruins, there is laughter.
However, grief remains with them as they look.
Their playgrounds are the streets of woe.
Where both fear and hope exist side by side.
Their toys are relics of a bygone era,
In a world where war could never end.
Oh, children of the warring nations,
With hearts that still dare to stand,

And wipe out this ceaseless suffering.
Mothers watch with tired eyes,
Stewards of these delicate relations.
With gentle movements, they remove the tears,
And drive out the worst of nightmares.

Guarding dreams from bursting open.

In hushed voices, their dreams they utter.
For in their hearts, there burns an eternal fire.
And that love will triumph over the evilness of war.
With every step they take, they face the storm.
Protecting young hearts.
Their strength, a light in the darkness.
Helping children find the way to the light.
For love remains when guns are fired.
