He’s writing a song to his wife
He looks around all four walls
He knows he has a beautiful life
For 3 years now he’s been picking
Picking songs for his lovely spouse
His love for her will always be sticking
He loves their love in this house
The guitar howls out in the night
It relays his hearts' emotion
He has been her fearless knight
He will never waver his devotion
She is the whole world to his soul
She is the rhythm in his songs
The day they met..his heart she stole
She’s the absolution to his wrongs
Memories of her soft kisses
make his melody ring true
When their apart it’s her he misses,
He thinks…as he’s writing his tune
Dynamite at first sight
His heart boomed like a nuclear war
She executed his inner fright
He was a saddened man no more
So tonight he writes a love song
Notes that express his passion
He hopes that it won’t be too long
For his song to cause a reaction
With the beats of his song in place
He warms up his singing voice
Words and music become one grace
she is what makes his heart rejoice !!!
