Lessons in Life
Let me play with words
As the Poet I think I am,
To speak on a school called life,
To speak of lessons learnt.
And perhaps, I could speak
Of a great teacher I know,
With a name that starts with M,
A name uttered by most.
Everyone knows the name,
I think one can tell from here,
As speaking of lessons in life,
Mistake has taught us more.
And I suppose life itself has given
The most valuable of lessons,
To be kept in heart for eternity,
Memorised in mind quite easily.
And perhaps, Change is a victim
Of mediocrity of things
For I might want an easy life
But not much there is to learn from it.
