Where should I look up to
Should I look back or should I move forward
I have lived and worked tirelessly all this while
I'm so exhausted I cannot wait to see a bit of light
Work has made me look like a wanderer
A wanderer in a strange land
Who has long been forgotten he is alive
I have become so pale from working so hard
Work has made me a laughing stock
When I should be jumping with joy like a happy dog
Work has made me an object of mockery
I don't need to be pitied I am stronger than rocky
I will make my journey to the land of hope at last
I will spend my weekends enjoying the breeze of the ocean
Where I will meet new faces that may give me a bit of attention
I will spend my evenings drinking away the stress
I will spend my mornings praying for strength
Away from the pressure at the workplace
I will stare at the moon in my hiding place
Where the thought of coming back to work may cause me to overstay
I will have no option than to evacuate
And return back to work where my daily routine awaits
Praying for strength in the coming days
