You sat with me under the shade of the trees,
Reading out the words that made no sense,
Not once did you lose faith,
Or let me be,
The slow and steady learner,
The butt of all the jokes,
Duffer! Failure! And more...
The trees are laughing
Under the tree of flatter
Write these all in the hearts
Under the shade
With arms stuck around your neck
Hope is regained
Reminiscing all the core values
The children gather around to hear what they've never heard
Reading out the words as a stammerer
P-e-oo-ple of o-k-roo mouths
Seal these in your elastic eardrum
The butt of all jokes
Sat in the body of old broke
Ones funny enough
Don't lose faith
You are bound to hear more
