Winter...
I think I saw his shadow there,
In the wood’s freezing snow,
I saw the cold blue glint in his eyes,
Beneath the moonlight’s pale glow....
I think I saw his figure there,
In the night’s cruellest hour,
Where everything covered with frost,
And where sparkled the bluest flower.
I think I saw him there again,
I was freezing in the frost,
But when I looked into his eyes,
I thought I was lost.
I think I saw a shadow there,
Dancing at the lake,
I wanted him to dance more,
It was nothing to disgrace.
I think I saw him there again,
When I blinked, he was gone,
But the magic he left behind,
Now sparkling in the dawn...
Poem not completely written by me....
Inspired by a beautiful book....
This is how I feel when winter arrives❄💙
Hope you enjoyed :p
