Sitting in my cottage, starring at everything I could behold
Solitude I desire but the creatures never stop barking
I thought to myself “How far have I gotten here”
Not too far for if only I could see the distance between me and my new home
I've longed for peace but not from my little cottage
I pray for solitude but not from this world
Oh, thou soul where are thou? Don't relent for we must give it all for paradise
Little did I know how beautiful and calm it can be
Barking from creatures, not even the little ones could feel my exasperation
My soul keeps fighting and mastering the ways of discipline
Lonely path but it's worth driving
I'm alone but have so many friends to commune with
Thousands of thousands of hosts from the heavenly sphere
Who can hear the warm vocalist of the angels
Oh, thou Saints I can't wait to join thee
Daily I die but not of my own soul
Crucify me to the cross and bring not back my decayed flesh
I pay so much to feed her, not the food from mankind
But the word of the Holy Spirit
Mysticism eludes my marbles but I die on the journey of truth
The road is narrow and a place of seclusion
Whoever finds it finds life, awake oh thou sleepeth being for we can't be intertwined with carousel act
Who shall join me but those whom I find on that journey to Paradise
I won't bargain the isolated path, though it's a narrow way
I die daily just to behold my KING
Laying claims but my soul cannot be sold.
