Sometimes,
I kinda wish I could go back to being a kid,
not for a do-over,
but because I wish I racked up more mistakes.
Now, I know the mistakes I should've made, but they're stuck in the kiddie pool.

When you mess up,
especially the big stuff,
the fallout usually takes its sweet time to hit.
Back then, it's like the world was in a rush but didn't hold a grudge.
Now, as a grown-up, the world's not in a hurry, but man, it doesn't let things slide.
