Who would do nothing but laugh and play

My days were always so sunny
And that was because of you

You didn’t just give birth to me
You raised and fed me
Clothed and taught me
You supported and loved me

You weren’t there to watch me grow
But you never failed to let me know
That you’re always there for me when I’m feeling low
You’re my mother and I love you so

You’ve always been strong and caring
Supportive and appreciative
And I am grateful,
For your love has always been thoughtful

I’m sorry for all the pain, that in your heart left a wound
I’d take it back if I could
And say sorry as I should

You’re nowhere near perfect
In fact, you’re flawed in some aspect
But that doesn’t matter
Because for me, you’re a great mother.
