As the moon rises and the sun falls into the sea

Darkness spreads across as far as the eyes can see,

Stars barely shine as bright anymore

A silhouette stands out of reach forevermore,

Closer I get to you the further you sink into the darkness

Hope fades with you leaving my heart a mess,

Loneliness takes hold along with a mask for the world to see

Slowly drifting away like in the Dead Sea, Destine to never find love so it seems

As my heart breaks down the seams
