Lone Soldier
The darkness in my heart kept me from the world,
like a thick mist creeping over the land.
Vanishing everything that it surrounds,
i was like a long lost species that couldn't be found.
As the years go by, i fell even deeper in the darkness,
with no hope not even a glimmer of spark.
I began to become one with the cold shadow in my heart, though close it may be, a message from the tree's.
Told me, that i will find the light if i just believe,
But
I didnt, because it was too dark for me to see, the queen that would come to set me free.
Ripping out the darkness from within me, inturn filling it with something that means so dear to me.
It hurt at first but then i start to feel, the warmth in my heart when i heard her say " lonely soldier, thank you for protecting me".
Then i thought to myself, after hearing those words from my queen, i could finally rest in peace.
