When grey clouds threaten rain
You are my silver lining
When the sky turns black as night
You are the stars that are shining

When my heart feels heavy
You lighten my soul
When I've fallen deeply
You lift me from the hole

You are my distraction
When I'm catastrophising
You make it lose traction

You are the candles that brighten my darkness
You are the angels perched upon my shoulders
