Why do people do bad things? Answer this question by writing a poem.

I know not , why people give hurt
Deliberate and sharp
And walk away as a bleeding soul lays
Is it because you were hurt the same way
And I wonder where does it stop.

I wonder why people pick up words
Behind your back and assassinate
Your character .. Mercilessly

Why do one gets greedy and steal
Goods, property and material things
From another who built it with love and toil

I wonder why people give another hope
Just to destroy and leave them
hanging in midair ..

I can preach and may have tried
To be laughed at and be called a fool
So I decide it may not stop with you
But stops with me

Is it not Infancy and Retaliation
To be continuously lashing at others
Direct or Indirectly

You may be broken , but so are most,
No excuses can hold forth
To bad behavior and treatment of others
Hidden daggers and sudden thrusts
I have decided to deflect yours
And remove you from my world.
