A drop of rain knocks the door of my heart,
And gives my heartbeat a kickstart,
I feel the winds passing on me,
Like a soft blanket that embraces me,


As rain sweeps away all the dirt,
I remove all negativity from my heart,
It brings the pleasant aroma of sand,
That eventually spreads all around,


You are colorless in the dark,
That makes me watch your thunder spark,
You are spreading love and peace,
Making everyone's time to cease,


You create a rhythmic beat,
That destroys all the waves of heat,
Making me go to sleep,
Very early and deep,


Behind the clouds is the sun still shining,
Busy in creating the clouds outlining,
The small droplets look like golden drops,
That fall on nature to grow precious crops,


This is a poem on Rain, which made me feel to pen it down.
