Once I Begged
I used to beg you not to leave,
Tears wiped away by my hearts sleeve,
It hurt so bad to imagine you gone,
Now it's something I'm able to believe,
I think you were gone long ago,
At least that's what your actions would show,
There might be this feeling inside me,
That I wish I never had to know,
The suffocation of your void fade,
The chaos it created no longer a cascade,
How has it come to be that part of this space,
I find between us is space that I've made,
I don't want to continue watching you slip away,
And I've run out of the right things to say,
