Fading away in the dark,
I see myself, losing my mark.
Like a shadow, like snow melting,
in the furnace of mind- iron smelting.

Fierce white color like a punch up the jaw,
Buck up! you could hurt yourself raw.
A knockout punch smashing in your face thrown
Right when you thought you won.

A flaw in your perfection may emerge, taking it all away.
Giving in your all, you are drained today.
But the climb is steep,
One wrong move, that's all it'll take to slip

You can forfeit,
Accept your defeat
Or you can climb, fall down and break again,
leaving nothing but ashes for remains.

Of those dreams now just smoke,
dark clouds blurring your eyes, choke.
Stifling pain making you cry
When all you could do is look up at the sky.

And wish for it to clear up,
Cheer up!
Cause one day your sun will rise,
And break above those mountains high.

Through those canopies of dark and cold,
Of the staleness of pale and old
You will rise again from earth like a tree,
Like the bird you will sore wild and free.
