A girl is loved when she has no opinion,
all she has to do is smile,
A girl doesn't stand up for herself,
Never top a class, always stay 3 below, Never show true emotion or ever get mad, Stand a certain way, dress to hide yourself, A notion created as the perfect girl,
while emotions bubble out of me
I have an opinion for everything
I am made to feel like a a drama queen
by these norms created by society.

I'm all but human born with same independence as any of you,
live and let live
how else will society progress
unless every voice born in this
free country is heard,
How will we be developed if girls aren't
provided an education,
if they are still looked down upon,
for being born a girl is a curse said man,
how does a man get to say you will be useless once you get married and get pregnant,
do they forget that they are born from a woman's womb,
she not only rendered him life but did we as women fail to educate them as such,
why is a woman looked down upon when for all their life men can't survive without a woman be it as a mother, sister or wife,
why has society allowed such carnage to occur,
where was morality when these injustices were handed to women and still are,
How are we celebrating a free India but forget many women are still bound by shackles created by society
As a girl a woman a daughter a sister a wife a mother
she embodies every role a man needs at all stages to help him grow as a person why can't he do the same,
where is the shame if he helps her grow as a person.
Let us all Free India from such shackles of injustice and truly walk together to celebrate a free India,
a free and safe world for every Girl.
