Suffocated in your world, were I didn't belong.
I held it tight and tried to be strong,
In the end it was your story that was too long.

You confessed, you were incapable of loving
You had a bad past, you were only recovering.
In the process, you damaged me
You knew I was healing too,
But all you cared was about you.

Thanks to you, that I know now,
One can never love another
without healing completely.
And I'm happy for what happened
as now I live life even more beautifully.
