I'm crumbling
clinging to fears unknown
for things I can easily triumph
with a task from Hades
and the courage of Poseidon
I thread in Medusa's cottage
alas the eerie nature in me
has been left ajar
I'm fateless to leap
in the faith of my fathers
basking in the delights of disgust
I surmount in the saddle of the serpent
and at last I can boldly sing
