If I were a bird, I would fly higher than the tallest mountains that ever lived,

If I were a fish, I would dive deep than any other being on this planet,

If I were an ant, I would work and live with pride like no other.

But then, I am a man.

So can't I fly high?

So, can't I dive deep?

So, can't I work and live with pride?

If I were a man of true sense, I would have made my life worthwhile,

And then on my depart, leave behind footprints on the sands of time.

These footprints would perhaps inspire another to make his life as worthy as mine,

And then I would have had immense pride inside my heart’s core.

And thus, I rise and strive to be a man worthwhile,

To have my footprints imprinted in the sands of time.
