Rising oceans,
A warming globe,
Savage storms,
A warning foretold...

Raging winds,
A dangerous slope,
claps of thunder,
flashes of lightning,
messages passed through broken doors and leaking roofs

Caught in the suicidal clash of waves,
Swept from the deceptively alluring banks,
Taken under into the battle for survival,

Caressed by the beautiful ocean floor,
Enticed by the predator,
waiting quietly for that perfect moment.

The beauty of thy nature,
can be as violent just as it is peaceful.

All messages are sent for a reason, and when they are not heeded,
Do not tremble when the consequences,
RAIN down on you.
