Did you know that the Sun

walks around on the earth?

He has golden brown eyes

and the kind of laugh

that makes you feel warm

from the inside out.

His sunlight makes the darkness

cower in fear and hide.

When i face Him,

my shadow hides behind me.

The Sun is the opposite

of egoism,

and the death of all things

dark and ugly.

He is gentle and powerful

in perfect harmony,

and although

i worship the ground He walks on,

i can only do it from a distance,

soaking up what little sunlight reaches me.

I know i'll get burnt

if i get too close.
